I found all Uncle Mike's holsters to be HIGH VALUE. When I say "High Value" I don't just mean low cost. To me the cost of a product is only part of the value equation. Low cost alone does not do it for me. I can buy junk very cheaply. I want something that works like it was designed to work. It has to be full of options and extra features for flexibility. It has to be very durable; I don't want to buy another one next year. Then I look at price, availability and service after the sale, etc.

Keeping it real - Now before I go any further "Let Me Be Clear" - the Sidekick® is a cloth holster design. You need to keep in mind some general facts about holsters and cloth constructed holsters. Cloth will not form fit as well as leather, Kydex or hard plastics although Uncle Mike's has the best Form Fit of any cloth holster I have used and cloth holster are more flexible "you can use the same holster for many different models of fire arms - not just the one model it was designed for". That means you don't necessarily have to buy a different holster for every sidearm you own. That alone can be a big money saver.

Cloth holster's Mouth or Rim "the top opening of the holster" will often colaps when pushed "sat on or leaned against" which will in some cases prevent you from holstering your sidearm with only one hand. Why is this important, well - lets say you have a bag of groceries in one hand or maybe you are holding your childs hand or maybe you are a police officer trying to control a suspect - you would have to let go of what you have in your hand and use both hands to holster your .sidearm. Note: Uncle Mike's has a reinforced bridge "the part that connects the inner and outer sides" to help reduce collapse and in my experience does a very good job for a cloth holster.

It is true Uncle Mike's Holsters happen to be "very low cost" although that alone as I have stated does not make them a High Value. I have seen and used many different cloth holsters from other manufactures which cost about the same, some a little less and some a lot more, although Uncle Mike's Holster are far superior in many ways. Their combination adjustment buckles, easy draw snaps, retention straps, multi sized Medium high ride design - double-slotted molded belt loop lets you wear it on LBE/Training/Hunting belt up to 2-1/4" wide or a standard trouser belt" and their adjustment clips hold very well "which allows you to securely carry your sidearm without it loosening and falling out".

Uncle Mike's is the best-constructed and highest-quality line of nylon holsters I have seen.
